Praiano parking areas

Praiano tourists  should consider the use of the following parking zones based on the location of their rentals.

 

Make sure you read the signs and checking the pavement strip colors when parking your vehicle. You will be noticing the areas with privileged space for “Residents only” where non-residents are not allowed to park. The signs in Italian will say "Riservato ai Residenti". You can determine that by checking the signs at the beginning of the parking zone. Most of those areas are evidenced with a yellow mark on the road.

 

Tourists have the option to park in some areas for free marked in white (some marked in white are stalls only for residents) or in the blue marked zones that are charged by the hour or the entire day. The paying parking are for anyone.

And those are located a bit anywhere in the village. If you pay for a blue parking in Praiano, you can use the payment anywhere in town. You can drive your car anywhere in the town of Praiano where the blue lines are available and park, within the same payment/time.  

We inform you that at the beach in via Marina di Praia, blue striped stalls do not follow Praiano rules as it is a different town, Furore. That means the payment made in Praiano is not valid there. 

You can use coins at the machine or the official handy App “Easy Park” you can download here:  https://getapp.easyparkgroup.com/en .  You need to include in the App the plate of your car. It is suggestable to put a post under the windshield, visible to the police that checks the parking meter payments, with written on it: PAGATO CON EASY-PARK or use English language to simplify: PAID WITH EASY-PARK
