Casa Ella is a beautifully very spacious family home with a private parking for a large car situated in the heart of the town of Praiano, Vettica side, close to most restaurants, bars and food stores of Praiano. Containing three comfortable and spacious Air/conditioning bedrooms and three full bathrooms and a huge private roof top terrace with a vast sea view, Positano and Capri island in the distance. Being South West oriented, our guests will attend to the most magical Sunsets experience along the Amalfi Coast.
We have three bedrooms, described as follow:
- Double bedroom with a Queen Size bed (160 cm width * 190 cm long) with en-suite full bathroom and, enclosed shower, French door that access to the balcony
- Double bedroom with a Queen Size bed (160 cm width * 190 cm long) and one "optional" single bed (80 cm width * 190 cm long) with en-suite full bathroom with enclosed shower and French door that access to the balcony
- a twin bedded room, containing two single beds that can be pushed together and become a Queen Size bed - 160*190 cm. This room has a window on top of the bed; the full bathroom for this room is in the corridor and has a bathtub with shower head.
The home has a large living room with a flat SMART TV with APPS, a large leather sofa where all can sit and share a moment together and a full kitchen containing a fridge and refrigerator, dish-washer, 4 burner gas stove, crockery, beautiful Vietri decorated ceramic plates, microwave, electric oven; you will feel like home from home.
We also have a separate cabinet containing a washer that guests can use. We do NOT have a dryer
From the entry corridor, our guests will have access to the huge roof top terrace. We have here 6 sunbeds to plunge into the sun and a parasol, a new large pergola to protect you from strong summer sun. A table to dine out with 6 chairs. On the terrace we have a small bathroom with toilet and washbasin.
The bus stop number 5 is at 30 meters from our home, walking right from the front gate. BUT the Sitasud will not stop here. Only the local bus to Positano does.
If you intend to use the SITASUD you need to walk to the main bus stop number 6 (Amalfi directions) or 7 (Positano directions), located along via Capriglione here https://maps.app.goo.gl/UGGi6vQK9Mh2mUZE6
Grocery store is at few meters down, left side;
Butcher, Fishmonger, farmacy, newsagente, tabacchi, spirits are on the left side of our home, at few meters away.
Most restaurants and bars in town are within walking distance from our property. Here's our list of preferred restaurants in the area: Praiano Restaurants. Feel free to explore these dining options during your stay, and don't hesitate to ask us for recommendations or assistance!
Enjoy the rustic and traditional atmosphere at Casa Ella and the village of Praiano offers you. The sea shore is at a short walk of 15 minutes down the stairs (about 380 to be precise). If you require any further groceries or items for your arrival, we can arrange this for you. Open the wine, sit back, relax and enjoy.

Before your arrival, please ensure that you have completed all fields of the online check-in form.
The step is necessary as guests must be registered with local authorities at the time of check-in.
Your closest bus stop is number 7, located in the village centre, along via Capriglione, at only 200 meters from your front door, for either main Sitasud line, local Mobility Positano-Praiano and Interno Praiano Tasso buses.

Please note that our neaby bus stop number 5 can be ONLY USED to hop on the Mobility Positano>Praiano local bus.
Sitasud doesn't stop at bus stop 5 nor 6
The page will provide more details about the village of Praiano and offer various activities, links to local events, parking information, and more. Please note that there is a council visitors' tax applicable to each tourist staying in town, payable upon arrival and only in cash.
For Casa Ella, the tax amounts to Euro 2 per person per night, for a maximum of 7 nights. Children under 10 are exempt from this tax. Please ensure that the due tax is left at the house. A small container is available in the kitchen for depositing the tax. It is mandatory to comply with this requirement.
Before leaving, check your portal invoice to see if the tax has already been paid through them, as some websites collect the tax on our behalf.

Features and Wifi
The house wifi password is beate2019@ all lower cases.
Please note that the password might change depending on the time of your stay. Just in case, you will find the updated password at the house.
Guests can enjoy a Smart TV in the living room, which allows you to stream your favorite shows on TV apps like Amazon Prime and Netflix, as the TV is connected to the internet.
The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances including a dishwasher, oven, freezer, fridge, toaster, microwave, and a variety of coffee makers to suit different preferences.
Our home utilizes an inverter blower mounted on the wall for cooling/heating, operated by the remote controller conveniently stored in the rooms/living room. If you're unfamiliar with using the remote, click here for an intensive explanation.
Regular heating is only utilized during winter months. Please refrain from using the regular winter heating unless agreed upon with us.
Our home offers parking for only one car and one scooter. Please use the space linked here.
We use the second parking spot in the left corner of the garage for our service purposes. If you have more than one car, additional vehicles will not fit in our space and you will need to drive 250 meters to park along the main road in the direction of Positano.
Please note that beneath the house, in the garage area, we have a storage space used for service purposes. Our staff may occasionally need to access this storage to retrieve items.
Rest assured, our staff will not enter the apartment itself during your stay. They will only access the storage area in the garage and will not interfere with your daily activities.
Garbage system
We actively participate in waste recycling in the village of Praiano.
Please utilize the containers located in the garage area, specifically on the right corner, and ensure that you use the correct recycling bin for disposing of your garbage.
We'll handle placing the bins outside on the designated night of the week for collection.
We kindly request that you deposit waste in the appropriate manner and into the correct bin.

Charging station or petrol
Praiano has a few stations to charge electric vehicles.
If you have one, please reach one of the following stations, located in:
- via Antico Seggio (intersection with via Costantinopoli)
- Via Umberto I, by the Municipio
- Via Umberto I, by bus stop nr 9
- Via Umberto I, by Hotel Margherita
If you have a regular gasoline car, you must reach the village of Conca Dei Marini Q8 station or Positano Parcheggio Mandara, in the village centre, along viale Pasitea.
Troubleshooting
While significant issues are rare in this apartment, here are a few things to keep in mind:
- The electric power meter is located just outside the garage by the main road, with "CASA ELLA Gagliano Domenico" written on top. If the meter flips down, simply lift the lever back up.
- There's a main fuse box on the left wall as you enter the stairs. Check if any fuse has tripped; this may occur occasionally.
- Additionally, there's another fuse box on the rooftop. Check this one too if any section of the house isn't working. It's located at the top of the staircase to the rooftop, in the left corner.
