Avoid Ants Attacks
Ants in the House – How to Prevent Them
Ants are one of the most common insects in homes, especially during the summer months. They are completely harmless and do not pose any danger to people. In our area, we are used to them and know how to manage them easily. So, please don’t panic if you see a few ants—it's perfectly normal and nothing to worry about.
Ants are small but very determined guests! They usually enter homes in search of food, water, or sweet drinks, especially during warmer months. But it’s not just food—even a dead fly or other small insect or animal that might die inside the house can attract them.
The best way to avoid an ant invasion is to keep the house very clean and free of food residues or organic matter at all times. Even a few crumbs or drops of juice can draw them in.
Here are some useful tips:
-
Always store fresh food, meat, cheese, sugar, or sweet drinks (like juice or soda) in the fridge.
-
Never leave food on tables or counters.
-
If you spill food or drinks, clean it up immediately, especially from the floor.
-
Do not leave food scraps or leftovers in the house.
-
Keep all waste (especially organic or food waste) outside, in the internal courtyard bins, so ants stay out.
-
Occasionally check for dead insects or other organic remains, especially near windows or corners, and remove them promptly.
-
We provide ant repellents in case they're needed – but with a bit of attention, you may not need to use them at all.
By following these simple steps, you’ll help us keep the house fresh, clean, and ant-free!
